Three Reasons to Have an Art Blog
1. You can use blogs to drive traffic to your main site: The more you post something on your art blogs the better your chances of more people seeing your art blog. Google loves blogs and if you have links in your art blog pointing to your main website there will be a good chance people will see and click on the link to your site.
2. Great way to have presence an online. Blogs are free or very inexpensive to have. If you don’t have a regular website you can start with a blog to get you up and running.
3. Sell your work. With PayPal and other online shopping carts, you can easily plug a pay button on your art blog. The button can be placed directly under the image of your artwork. You may have heard of “A painting A Day”, where artists create a painting a day and post the image of the painting on their blog with a link to purchase it on eBay.
