You may be asking, who is this guy. Well, my name is Ahmad Austin. I am an artist, teacher, husband and father of two. Every since a little boy I wanted to be an artist. For the past ten years I have been on a unique journey in fulfilling my long life dream in becoming an artist. This journey has led me to be in newspaper articles, magazines and on the web. I have sold paintings all the way from the U.S. to Ireland certifying me as an international artist. I have a Bachelors of Science in Art Education and I am currently working on my Masters. I am in my eighth year of teaching art and enjoy giving back to my community.
Well so far I have surpassed that goal and have not only sold my work at festivals but won awards at art shows and art festivals. I paint landscapes, abstract, and portraits but my main focus, the bread and butter of my work, has been paintings of jazz musicians.
Though my passion has been in creating artwork, I have developed another passion in helping other artists fulfill their dreams into becoming a successful artist. I have helped many of my artist friends began their art career or have helped improve their career. I have seen so many changes in the realm of art selling because of the Internet and I would like for this site to help artist to create a profitable business my learning new marketing strategies through websites, blogs, and social media along with traditional festivals and galleries.
